BLUEFIELD, Va. —
Ronald (Ron) Edward Kieloch, 55, of Bluefield, Va., formerly of Alexandria, Va., stepped into the arms of God on Jan. 25, 2013. His departure was unexpected.
He was a selfless, loving husband, dedicated son, beloved father, and adoring grandfather; a true servant among men.
Those remaining are his wife, Crystal White Kieloch; his cherished daughter, Kimberly Kieloch Chamblin; son-in-law, Edwin; and precious grandson, Mason Riley of Locust Grove, Va. He leaves behind two brothers, Ned Kieloch and Bruce Kieloch, both of Washington, D.C.; and cousins, Edward Stephen Campion, Brian (Janice) Campion, Judy (Joseph) McDonald, Amy (Brian) Rabuse, Ellen Campion, Laura Campion, Joseph (Theresa) Polinski, and Bill (Pat) Kasmerski, all from upstate New York.
Ron joins his beloved mother, Catherine Kieloch; father, Edward Kieloch; and sister, Mary Kieloch.
Ron was treasured by his wife’s family, Sara White Socks and husband David, Chris White and wife Crystal, Philip White and wife Tara, as well as his sister-in-law, Brenda White Sturgill and husband Don. He was Uncle Ronnie to Declan, Ainsley, Kyllian, David Michael, Rachel and Rickey who adored their “really awesome uncle.”
A seven-year survivor of an aortic dissection, Ron credited God for his recovery. Ron enjoyed a rich and eclectic life which included a childhood of world travel, living in Panama and India and visiting Europe and Africa with his family because of his father’s work in public policy. He worked as a trainer for Leadership Resources and with the federal branch of Sharp Electronics in the northern Virginia area. He held a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and had completed work toward an MBA. After his move to Bluefield, he was employed with Echostar as a trainer and then joined the staff of the Tazewell County Public Library. As a passionate history buff and Renaissance re-enactor, he was a life-long learner who loved to create by cooking, sewing, building, or being a resource for those who needed him. He was also an ardent reader and has written several unpublished novels.
A celebration of his life will be held at Westminister Presbyterian Church, 2005 Washington Street in Bluefield on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. The family will receive visitors an hour before the service. Family friend, Tim Havens will be leading the celebration.
In lieu of flowers, his wife requests that donations be made to Tazewell County Public Library, P.O. Box 929, Tazewell, Virginia 24651 in his memory to honor his thirst for learning.
Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, Va. is serving the Ronald Edward Kieloch family.
