MENTOR, Ohio —
Frances L. Johnson, age 88, of Mentor, Ohio, formerly of Bishop, Va., died January 16, 2013 at Golden Living of the Western Reserve Nursing Home in Kirtland, Ohio. She was born June 3, 1924 in War, W.Va.
Mrs. Johnson had been a member of the former Rebekah Lodge #18 in Bishop, Va. and of the Alexandra Methodist Church in Bishop, Va. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Walter (Mildred) Johnson of Mentor, Ohio; son-in-law, Bill Watson of Florida; grandchildren, Ted (Lynn) Johnson of Concord Twp, Ohio, Dan (Harmony) Johnson of Brookpark, Ohio, Jeri (Pat) Elliott of Blacksburg, Va. and Maria Watson of New York; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Luke, Max, Ben, Payton, Nicole and Aubrie; great-great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Spencer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; daughter, Donna Watson; grandson, Rick Watson; parents, Walter and Eula Beavers and brothers, Bill Beavers and Walter Beavers Jr.
A committal service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel at Grandview Memory Gardens, 38659 Gov. G.C. Peery Highway, Bluefield, VA 24605.
