BLUEFIELD —
Chester Herbert Clendenin, 53, of 3611 Brook St., Bluefield, W.Va., died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 in a Beckley hospital.
He was born in Bluefield and is the son of Herbert Clendenin of Bluefield and the late Rachel Jeffrey Clendenin.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dallas Ivan Clendenin.
He is survived by his father, Herbert Clendenin of Bluefield; brother, Mark of Clendenin of Bluefield, W.Va.; sisters, Sandra Clendenin Allen and husband Steven of Damascus, Md., Treasa Grose of Bluefield, W.Va., Anita Farley of Bluefield, W.Va., Mary Ellen Mills and husband Phil of Alabama; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. with Captain Jerry Lester officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m.
Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, Va. is serving the Chester Herbert Clendenin family.
