BLUEFIELD —
William David Spencer, 65, of Bluefield, W.Va. passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Born May 29, 1947 in Bluefield, W.Va., he was the son of the late David Earl Spencer and Elizabeth Jones Greever. He faithfully served his country during the Vietnam era in the United States Army. He was a truck driver serving as a commercial hauler.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Shawn David Spencer of Melbourne, Fla.; brothers, Daniel Phillip Spencer of Arab, Alabama, Bill Greever Jr. and wife Joslyn of N. Tazewell, Va.; sister, Katherine Durham of Tazewell, Va.; nieces, Megan Greever, Lesa Hudson and Angela Hull; nephews, Tommy Durham and Phillip Spencer; and special friend, Susan Greever.
Funeral services for William will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton, W.Va. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Burial will follow in Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Bluefield, W.Va.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
