PRINCETON —
Timothy R. “Tim” Bell age 53, of 202 North McNutt Ave., Princeton, W.Va., formerly of McDowell County, passed away Friday evening, July 6, 2012, at Charleston Area Medical Center after a short illness. Born April 10, 1959 in Welch, W.Va., he was the son of William Homer Bell and Wanda French Bell of Princeton, W.Va.
He was a 1977 graduate of Northfork High School. He was a former employee of the Clark Hardware Store in Northfork, W.Va., a former bus driver for the McDowell County School system, and a former coal miner having worked last for the U.S. Steel Pinnacle Mine. He was affiliated with the Pentecostal Faith, and had been a resident of McDowell County most of his life.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Jeanie Bell Goodridge on June 30, 2012, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He is survived by his parents, William Homer and Wanda French Bell of Princeton, W.Va.; one sister, Linda Bell Argo of Princeton, W.Va.; one brother, Willie Bell of Houston, Texas; two sons, Jacob Bell of Statesville, N.C., Christian Bell of Princeton, W.Va.; two daughters, Holly Bell of Princeton, W.Va., Jackie Mikles and husband, Kevin, of Princeton, W.Va.; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Widener Funeral Home Chapel, Northfork, W.Va. with the Rev. Joey Proffitt officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluewell, W.Va. Friends may call Thursday at the Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until the hour of service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
