LERONA — Margaret St.Clair Dove, 78, of Browns Ridge Road, Lerona, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, March 16, 2010, CAMC General Division, Charleston.
Born June 3, 1931, at Elgood, she was the daughter of the late William St.Clair and Louemma Clyburn St.Clair.
Margaret loved her Lord, and was faithful to her church, the Lerona Church of Christ. She was devoted, loving and caring for her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Powhatan W. Dove Jr.; along with three children, Johnny Ray Dove, Glen Herndon Dove and an infant daughter; and many of her siblings.
Survivors include four children, Carl Wilson Dove of Princeton, Clarence W. Dove of Athens, Margaret Dove Ramsey of Hinton, Mary E. Dove Houchins and husband Boone of Lerona; six grandchildren, Autum Ann Ramsey, Frederick Powhatan Dove and wife Melinda, Randall Aaron Burdette, Kelsey Jo Burdette, Daniel “Hunter” Houchins, Hannah Marie Houchins; and a great-grandchild arriving in June, 2010.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2010 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Danny Hazelwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Dove Family Cemetery, Browns Ridge Road, Lerona.
A time of sharing will be held on Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends may share online condolence via www.memorialfd.com, or P.O. Box 135, Hinton, WV 25951.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and friends of the family.
The Dove family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory & Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
