Elizabeth Kelly Keaton
WARRENTON, Va. — Elizabeth Kelly Keaton, 98, of Warrenton, Va., formerly of Thornton Avenue in Princeton, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, Va.
Born November 6, 1914 in Saltville, Va., she was the daughter of the late Frank Grayson Kelly and Elizabeth Buchanan Kelly. Elizabeth was a retired seamstress with the Maidenform, Inc. in Princeton with twenty five years service. She was of the Protestant faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenden Edward Keaton; one daughter, Almeda Pettrey Coburn; three brothers; and two sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include one daughter, Elaine Mullins and husband Warren, of Warrenton, Va.,; eight grandchildren, Sharon Surbaugh Smith, of Princeton, Karen Bragg, of Charlotte, N.C., Kim Pettrey, of Concord, N.C., Stacie Mullins Cole, of Warrenton, Va., Angie Goins, of Princeton, Aaron Whittington, of Bristol, Tenn., Matthew Mould of Princeton, and Ryan Mould of Jacksonville, N.C.; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Tom Mould officiating. Burial will follow at the Vest Family Cemetery in Pipestem. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Saturday.
