ANAWALT —
Ned Sizemore, 50, of P.O. Box 213, Anawalt, W.Va. (Jenkin Jones), passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012 at his home. Born in Welch, W.Va., he was the son of the late Jerry Johnson and Shirley Sizemore Johnson.
He was educated in McDowell County and worked as a carpenter and factory worker most of his life until becoming disabled. He enjoyed being around family, friends and working around his home. He was a loving brother and good friend. Ned had a good heart and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Candy Elizabeth Lewis and sisters, Vivian Parks and Brenda Holleman.
Survivors include sisters, Leda Little (Arthur) of Conklintown, W.Va., Diane Johnson (Stanley) of O'toole, W.Va.; brothers, Roger Sizemore (Debbie) of O'toole, W.Va., Ricky Sizemore (Lori) of Denton, N.C., and Michael Ford (Claudine) of Anawalt, W.Va.; special friends, Helen Bowles, JoAnn Brown, and Tammy and Shane Howington.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jenkin Jones Methodist Church in Jenkin Jones, W.Va. with Brother Harold Ward officiating. Interment will follow at the Sizemore Family Cemetery in Jenkin Jones, W.Va.
Friends may call Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Jenkin Jones Methodist Church in Jenkin Jones, W.Va.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Miller, Junior Long, Bo Davis, Gary Church, Rick McCroskey and C.W. Cartwright.
The Rodriguez Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Va. is serving the Sizemore family.
