PRINCETON —
Thomas Earl Hazelwood, 66, of Princeton, W.Va., died Monday, December 17, 2012.
Born August 20, 1946, he was the son of the late Margie and William “Windy Bill” Hazelwood. He retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways with over 20 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Carol Hazelwood.
He is survived by his children, Kay Hazelwood, Pamela Contreras and spouse, Michael, Bobbie JoAnn Cox, Heather Cary, Jonathan Hazelwood and spouse, Teigha, Sharon Hazelwood, Anthony Hazelwood; brothers and sisters, Jimmy Hazelwood, Robert “Bobbie” Hazelwood and spouse, Janie, Richard Hazelwood and companion, Glenna Kennedy, Judy Bartfai and spouse, Bobby, Gary Hazelwood and spouse, Mary, Darlene Pennington and spouse, Ron, Shelby Duke and spouse, Ernie, Larry Hazelwood; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Eugene Hazelwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Shumate Family Cemetery at Elgood.
Friends may visit with the family Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The Hazelwood family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory & Cremation Center on Athens Road in Princeton.
