NORTH TAZEWELL, Va. —
Robert M. “Bobby” Chandler, age 63, of North Tazewell, Va., finished his amazing race in victory on Saturday, November 10, 2012 to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ.
Bobby was born June 26, 1949 at Welch, W.Va., the youngest son of Ola Chandler of Dublin, Va. and the late Carl Chandler, who died in 2010. Bobby was a caring and giving person who was always doing for family and friends without recognition. He was quiet, but loud in his integrity and beliefs. He was a beautiful and courageous man.
He loved his wife of thirty-one years, Annette; two sons, Rob Chandler and John Chandler and his wife, Kayla; one very “special” grandson, Kaylem all of North Tazewell, Va.; his loving mother, Ola Chandler of Dublin, Va.; two brothers, Carl Chandler and wife, Helen of Dublin, Va. and Damon Chandler and wife, Cathy of Glencoe, Ala.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law who loved him as a brother; aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Tazewell Family Worship Center in Tazewell, Va. with the Reverend Lawrence Hayes officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tazewell Family Worship Center, 112 Faith St., Tazewell, VA 24651 or Appalachian Teen Challenge, 1651 Unity Rd., Athens, WV 24712.
