NORTH TAZEWELL, Va. —
Geneva Ruth Kitts, 77, of 381 Carter Hill Rd., N. Tazewell, Va., died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at her home.
She was born in Coretta, W.Va. and was a daughter of the late Lavere Snyder and Mabel Price Snyder. She was a member of the New Covenant Fellowship Church in Tazewell, Va. and in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Robert L. Kitts.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Smith of N. Tazewell, Va.; sister, Brenda Money and husband, James of N. Tazewell, Va.; grandchildren, Linda Lafon and husband Teddy of Bluefield, W.Va., Rob Cornwell of Bluefield, W.Va., Heather Branham and husband Jeremy of Bluefield, W.Va.; great-grandchildren, Justin Cornwell and Ryleigh Noel Cornwell.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. with Pastor Adam Frye and Pastor Kathy Hagerman officiating. Burial will follow in the Grandview Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until hour of services.
Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, Va. is serving the Kitts family.
