Virginia Faye Nemchick
BLAND, Va. — Virginia Faye Nemchick, age 83, of Bland, Va., passed away on Wednesday, February 13 2013 at the Westwood Center in Bluefield, Va.
Born on September 22, 1929, she was a daughter of the late James and Effie Kilgore Tolliver. She was a homemaker, loved doing crafts and was a member of the Elkhorn Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Paul Nemchick; and two brothers, William and Joseph Tolliver and one sister, Norma Tolliver. She and her husband loved camping and going to the beach in the winter.
Survivors are: daughter: Linda Morehead and husband Ken of Bland, Va.; two Grandchildren: Matthew Morehead and wife Angela of Bland, Va., Kevin Morehead of Bland, Va.; two great-grandsons: Kendrick and Kalen Morehead of Bland, Va.; and sister-in-law: Mary Davis of Princeton.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Danny Shortridge officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, W.Va., where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00-2:30 at the funeral home.
