GLEN LYN, Va —
Larry Wayne Meadows, 58, of Glen Lyn, Va., died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, Va. Born July 1, 1954 at Princeton, he was the son of Ann Lee Caperton Meadows of Green Springs and the late Kenneth Dwayne Meadows Sr.
Prior to his illness, Larry had been employed by Sears, Roebuck and Co. and New River Manufacturing Co., as well as tending to the family farm. He was a charter member of the Green Springs Baptist Church. Larry loved his family and enjoyed riding his motorcycle while talking to his fellow riders about the Lord.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Heather Ann Meadows of Finley, Ohio; one granddaughter, Tatiana Meadows of Finley, Ohio; two grandsons, Dalton and Dawson Shearer both of Finley, Ohio; one brother, Kenneth Dwayne Meadows Jr. of Elgood Mountain Road; a favorite nephew, Landon Meadows; a favorite niece, Destiny Meadows; and several aunts, uncles and other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2013 at the G.E. Davis Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale with the Rev. Terry Lambert officiating. Interment will follow at the Meadows Family Cemetery at Green Springs. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 4, 2013 from noon until service hour at the Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale.
