ROWE, Va. —
Tammy Dee Coleman Tiller, 52 years of age, of Rowe, Va., went to be with the Lord, January 18, 2013 in Johnson City Medical Center. Born April 2, 1960 in Vansant, Va., she was the daughter of the late Carl and Edith Nell Boyd Coleman.
She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Rowe Pentecostal Church of Rowe, Va., a graduate of SWVCC, where she received an Associate Degree in Accounting and Secretarial Science. She enjoyed being a CASA volunteer, reading, decorating and shopping. She was a loving wife, mother and sister.
In addition to her parents, Carl and Edith Nell Boyd Coleman, she was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Baldridge.
Survivors include her husband, Stafford Gary Tiller of Rowe, Va.; daughter, Victoria McCary of Rowe, Va.; sisters, Ruth Ann Fuller of Vansant, Va., Mary Sue Crigger and husband Marvin of Yukon, W.Va., Deborah Lynn Stiltner and husband Grover of Maxie, Va.
She is also survived by her father and mother-in-law, Lehman and Ruth Tiller of Vansant, Va.; brothers-in-law, Elmer Baldridge of Defiance, Ohio and Marcus Tiller and his wife Denise of Bastian, Va.; sisters-in-law, Maretta Lester and husband Dwight of Rowe, Va., Regina Street and husband Darrell of Vansant, Va.; special friend, Anita Helton of Vansant, Va.
Funeral services for Tammy Dee Coleman Tiller will be at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home chapel of Grundy, Va., Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Ancil Childress and Pastor Shea Shrader officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery, Richlands, Va.
Active pallbearers will be her family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Grover Stiltner, Kathy McGlothlin, Hildred Meadows, Anita Helton and members of the Rowe Pentecostal Church of Rowe, Va.
The family will receive friends at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel of Grundy, Va., Monday, January 21, 2013, after 6:00 p.m. with evening services at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to CASA, 1103 Plaza Drive, PO Box 1977, Grundy, VA or Rowe Pentecostal Church of Rowe, VA.
