MONTCALM —
Maynard Basil Dillow, age 84, of Tabernacle Hill Road, Montcalm, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at his home.
Born on March 16, 1928 in Montcalm, he was a son of the late John C. and Laura Mae Perkins Dillow. He had lived in Montcalm since 1980 and was a skilled heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Eagles and the Moose Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Elmer and Delmer Dillow, Virginia Pizzini, Howard Dillow, Coy Dillow, Thelma Pizzini, Joe Dillow, Roy Lee Dillow and Charles Dillow.
Survivors include his wife, June Dillow of Tabernacle Hill Road, Montcalm; sons, Maynard B. Dillow Jr. and wife Susan of Margate, Fla., Keith A. Dillow and wife Kimberly of Baltimore, Md., Harry M. Dillow and wife Carol of Montcalm; daughter, Jennifer L. Dillow of Montcalm; sister, Shirley Blankenship and husband Buford of Lexington, N.C.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Candice Spang and husband Jason and daughters Madison and Mackenzie of Florida; Deborah Dupont and husband Brent and daughter Brennah of Florida; Keith A. Dillow Jr. and wife Lisa and children Brandon, Taylor and Bradley of Maryland; Denise Bachman and husband Derrick and son Derrick Jr. of Maryland; Johathan Dillow of Maryland; and Harry M. Dillow Jr. of Montcalm.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 18, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with the Rev. James Milam officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
