THAXTON, Va. —
Kimberly Dianne Bandy Mullins, age 42, of Thaxton, Virginia, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at her home.
She was born in Roanoke, Virginia and was the daughter of Herbert Clyde “Bucky” Bandy and Doshie Argabright Bandy of Bandy, Virginia.
She was a lifelong resident of the area prior to moving to the Bedford area five years ago. She was a graduate of Richlands High School Class of 1988 and had attended nursing school.
Survivors are: Her husband: Douglas Allen Mullins; two daughters: Kala Lamb of Cedar Bluff, Virginia Kendra Williams of Cedar Bluff, Virginia; paternal grandmother: Margaret Bandy of Bandy, Virginia; father and mother-in-law: Douglas McKinley “Bucky” Mullins and Joyce Marie Mullins of Sandusky, Ohio; sister-in-law: Eunice Mullins of Sandusky, Ohio.
Funeral services for Kimberly Dianne Bandy Mullins will be conducted Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Thomas Stranger officiating. Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia.
