BLUEFIELD —
Helen Virginia Pruitt, age 66, of 210 Armory Road (Brushfork), Bluefield, W.Va., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Dec. 6, 1946 and was a daughter of the late Annie M. Blevins and the late Carl Hall. She loved playing with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a huge BINGO player. She was a very strong, energetic and outgoing lady. She was the greatest mom and momaw any person could ask for. She loved everyone she met, was loved, and will be missed dearly by so many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Bradley Pruitt, and one brother, Tommy Hall.
Survivors include children, Joseph A. Hall and fiancée Patty Fowler of Bluewell, Sissy Hall of Brushfork, Tonya L. Pruitt and fiancé Chris Anderson of Brushfork; grandchildren, Christie N. Hodges of Princeton, Brittany A. Hodges of Bluefield, Jennifer Fowler and Josh Fowler, both of Bluewell, Natasha Pruitt of Brushfork, Levi Hall of N.C. and Jessica Fowler of Green Valley; great-grandchildren: Ashton Whittaker, Anthony Whittaker, and Acedees Whittaker of Princeton, Heidi Hodges of Bluefield.
Funeral services will be conducted today (Thursday), Jan. 3, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with the Rev. Brian Checchio officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Chris Anderson, Clarence Hall Jr., Robert Hall, Bobby Dillon Jr., Ernie Jennings, Brandin Jennings, and Todd Musick serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call today from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
