BLUEFIELD —
Kenneth Lee Lowe, 71, of 717 Blue Price Road in Bluefield, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at his residence. Born October 30, 1941 in Bluefield, he was the son of the late Chat Lowe and Myrtle Bailey Lowe.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. Kenneth was of the Baptist faith and loved to fish and hunt.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Bob Lowe, Dave Lowe, Herald Lowe, Roy Lowe, Jerry Lowe, and Bill Lowe.
Survivors include one daughter, Ginger Helms of Morganton, N.C.; three sons, Kenneth L. Lowe Jr. and wife Judy of Connelly Springs, N.C., Charles Anthony Lowe and special daughter-in-law Jeanette of Bluefield, and John Daniel Lowe and wife Samantha of Princeton; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Gail Lowe and Virginia Lowe both of Tennessee; former wife and special friend, Carla Boyd of Bluefield; and special friends, Johnny Finley, Jim, and Junior Cox all of Bluefield, David Post of Kegley, Jacob Sprouse of Green Valley, and Dexter of Glenwood.
In keeping with Kenneth's wishes his body has been cremated. A Time of Sharing with family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton.
