BRADSHAW —
William Lloyd (Bill) Young, age 69, of Bradshaw, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at a Richlands, Va. hospital following a long illness. Born Nov. 7, 1943 at Jewell Ridge, Va., he was the son of the late Lindsey Lloyd Young and Rachael Pruitt Young.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Young of Bradshaw; two daughters, Kim Hagerman and husband David of Bradshaw, and Kayla Young of Bradshaw; three sisters, Mamie Marie Young of North Carolina, Junie Keen and husband Phillip of Wytheville, Va. and Mary Strouth and husband David of Richlands, Va.; one half-brother, Roy Gene Osborne of Richlands, Va.; three brothers, Stewart Young and wife Tina of Belfast, Va., John R. Young of Jewell Ridge, Va. and Jimmy Harold Young of Jewell Ridge, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Virginia with the Rev. Rick Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Jewell Cemetery at Chicken Ridge, Va. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Singleton Funeral Service at Cedar Bluff, Va.
