Paul Dennis Driscoll Sr.
PRINCETON — Paul Dennis Driscoll Sr., 68 of Don Morgan Drive, Princeton, died early Monday morning, February 18, 2013, at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston.
Born September 23, 1944, in Bluefield, he was the son of the late Paul C. Driscoll and Thelma C. Dye Driscoll Bratton.
Paul was a graduate of Beaver High School and had attended Bluefield State College. He had served with the US Air Force and was a member of the Greenview United Methodist Church in Green Valley. Paul loved his family; he enjoyed fishing coin collecting and keeping his 1989 Corvette shined. Paul was a member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge 1459 of Princeton and was a Past Exalted Ruler of the Lodge.
Paul had retired from Joy Manufacturing in Bluefield, Virginia with more than 35 years of service.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Mike Driscoll.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Dawn Louise White Driscoll; three children; Emily Dawn Weeks, Nikki Driscoll Lester and husband Chad, Paul Dennis Driscoll Jr. and wife Heather all of Princeton; seven grandchildren Shane Weeks, Paul D. Driscoll III, Makayla Driscoll, Cadance Driscoll, Sylas Driscoll, Kacie and Logan Lester; one great-granddaughter, Kaylee Weeks; one sister, Dolores “Dee” Royce of Princeton; and his two Yorkies, Layla and Ms. Poochie.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Brent Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial gardens in Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com
Serving as pallbearers will be John Christian, Shane Weeks, Tim Shires, Chuck McGonagle, Rusty Royce & Gideon White. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Driscoll III and Shelton Pennington.
The Driscoll family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
