PRINCETON —
Betty Irene Bailey, 79, of 306 Jefferson St. in Princeton, died Sunday, February 17, 2013, at her residence. Born in Princeton, July 23, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Walter C. and Nettie G. Taylor Six.
Betty was a lifetime faithful member of the Princeton Church of Christ on East Main Street in Princeton. She was a graduate of Princeton High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family and enjoyed traveling with them when her health allowed.
In addition to her parents, four brothers, Clarence Six, Howard Six, Ernest Six and Garland Six and two sisters, Ethel Six Wyrick and Gladys Six preceded her in death.
Survivors include her devoted husband of sixty years, Clyde E. Bailey Jr. of Princeton; one son, Rodney E. Bailey and his wife Vickie and two daughters, Donna J. Arnold and her husband Stephen and Melissa G. Barker and her husband Bo all of Princeton; six grandchildren, Jeffery Bailey, Erin Bailey and her husband Chad, Chad Arnold, Jaime Arnold, Zackery Barker and Kaleigh Barker; three great-grandchildren, Raegan Bailey, Rory Bailey and Dayton Arnold; one sister, Inabelle Six Lane and her husband Roy of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Preacher Conway Hutton officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Pallbearers will be Jeffery Bailey, Chad Arnold, Zackery Barker, Chad Bailey, Mike Six and Stanley Six.
Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2013 (today).
