Bessie Faye Beavers, age 89, of Hinton, W.Va., formerly of Squire, W.Va. died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hinton, W.Va. Born Dec. 4, 1922 in Coalwood, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Ezekiel and Gladys Billings.
Mrs. Beavers was a member of the Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit R. Beavers; one daughter, Tiny Jean Beavers; two sons, Kermit Lee Beavers and Teddy Ray Beavers; four sisters, Mary Ward, Nervine Billings, Pearl Kirk and Stella Kirk.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Nunley of Bluefield, W.Va.; one son, Paul Edward Beavers of Canebrake, WV; one sister, Addie Billings of Michigan; two brothers, Ed Billings of Bishop, Va. and Ezekiel Billings of Harve de Grace, Md.; three grandchildren, Erin Nunley, Christopher Nunley and Cathleen Atwell; three great-grandchildren, Austin Nunley, Jordon Atwell and Levi Atwell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at Peery & St.Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, Va. with Pastor Oscar Woodall officiating. Burial will follow at Woodall Cemetery at Bishop, Va. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
