PRINCETON —
Evelyn Keatley Bareford, 87, of 804 Front Street in Princeton, died Thursday, November 29, 2012 at her residence. Born January 20, 1925 in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Opie Keatley and Maude Skaggs Keatley.
Evelyn was a retired teacher for Mercer County Schools with over thirty years service last teaching at Princeton High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Pauline Stanfield; two brothers, Harry Gordon Keatley and Cliff Keatley; and her cousin, Elaine Keatley. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include one son, Kelly Keatley Bareford of Princeton.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Monday, December 3, 2012 at Oakwood Park Cemetery in Princeton with Johnny W. Gray officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark E. Workman, Johnny W. Gray, Bud Lawson, and Gary Lilly. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour Monday at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton. Those attending the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 11:45 a.m. Monday.
