TAZEWELL, Va. —
John Henry Balser, age 78, of Heritage Hall Health Care Center in Tazewell, Va., died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital in Tazewell, Va.
Born June 9, 1934 in Charleston, W.Va., he was a son of the late Charlie and Lundy Virginia Welch Balser. Mr. Balser was a former salesman of books and magazines.
His only survivors include nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Friday), Nov. 30, 2012 at Maplewood Cemetery in Tazewell, Va. with Pastor Wilfred “Willie” L. Overton of Draper, Va. officiating.
Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home of Tazewell, Va. is handling the services for Mr. Balser.
