BALLARD —
Sharon L Waddell, age 63, of Ballard, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in Princeton, W.Va. Born March 12, 1949 in Forest Hill, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James H. and Lelia B. Lucas Lane.
Sharon was a CNA and a homemaker. She was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David W. Lane Jr.; one brother, James E. Lane; one sister, Wanda L Bragg, an infant brother and sister.
Survivors include her husband, David W. Waddell Sr.; one son, Jeffrey Waddell of Ballard, W.Va.; three sisters, Wilda Goodall and husband Sam, Gloria Shortridge and husband Arnold all of Peterstown, W.Va., and Wilma Redden and husband Charles of Jumping Branch, W.Va.; her mother-in-law, Liza Waddell of Greenville, W.Va.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, W.Va., with Minister Henry Conley officiating. Burial will follow at the Green Hills Cemetery, Union, W.Va. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the funeral home. Dale, Bryon and Michael Shortridge, Randy Redden, Dennis and Dean Bragg will serve as pallbearers.
