BLUEFIELD, Va. —
Katherine L. Crouse, age 86, of Bluefield, Va., died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, W.Va. Born May 10, 1926 at North Tazewell, Va., she was a daughter of the late George Dula Murray and Charlotte Graham Murray.
She was a member of the Calvary Assembly Church in Baptist Valley, Va. She was a loving and caring wife of sixty-one years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Bertha Lucinda Murray and Carol Sue Murray; two brothers, William Roger Murray and George David Murray.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, James S. Crouse; one niece, Missy Shephard of Idaho; two nephews, Michael Harold of Marion, Va. and Joey Murray of Bishop, Va.; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, Va. with the Reverend Troy Bartley officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 12:00 noon on Wednesday.
