TULSA, Okla. —
Scott Mackenzie Farquharson, age 51, of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Richlands, Va., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at his home in Tulsa, Okla.
He was born in Richlands, Va. and was the son of Lorraine Scott Farquharson of Richlands, Va. and the late William Kenneth Farquharson.
He was a lifelong resident of the Richlands area prior to moving to Tulsa, Okla. 12 years ago. He was a former car salesman in both the Richlands and Tulsa areas and was a graduate of Richlands High School Class of 1979. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Janet Farquharson and one brother, Kent Farquharson.
Survivors are three daughters, Wycliffe Scott Farquharson of Asheville, N.C., Charlice Morgan Farquharson of Bluefield, Va., Raeanna Sharee Farquharson of Charlotte, N.C.; one son, William Kenneth Farquharson III of Charlotte, N.C.; one sister, Judy Fletcher and husband, Terry of Richlands, Va.; one granddaughter, Avery Morgan Huffman; special nieces and nephews, Jennifer Fletcher of Richlands, Va., Eric Fletcher of Johnson City, Tenn., and Graham Johnson of Richlands, Va.
Memorial services for Scott Farquharson will be conducted Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Va. with the Rev. Larry Ramey officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Va.
