CLIFFIELD, Va. — Lora Frances Earls, age 73, was the eldest daughter of the late Harrison and Edith Rasnake Earls, she went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012. She was greeted at the heavenly gates by her parents and her siblings, Tony and Don Earls, Debbie Bandy and Gussie Hankins.

Lora was a special angel sent from God, she helped care for her siblings as they grew up and then helped to take care of many nieces and nephews. Lora was a very loving person and always had a smile, her laughter was contagious and her heart was full of joy. She brought joy into the lives of all who were blessed to have known her. She was a lifetime member of the Cliffield Christian Church of Cliffield, Va. and was a lifetime resident of the Tazewell County area.

Those who remain to carry on her spirit are: Her sisters: Judy Colley of Knoxville, Tenn., Hannah Sluss of Knoxville, Tenn.; Her brothers: Robert Earls of Mt. Airy, Md., Harrison Earls Jr. of Cliffield, Va. Several nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive her. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services for Lora Frances Earls will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Va. with the Rev. Chris White officiating. Interment will follow at the Harrison Family Cemetery on Earls Branch in Cliffield, Va. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
