DELTONA, Fla. —
Pamela Elaine Joyce Oates, age 55, of Deltona, Florida, lost her courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. She was born on September 14, 1957 in Camp LeJeune, N.C. and was the daughter of Russell E. and Nancy E. Joyce.
Pam was above all a proud and loving mother as well as daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was a devoted Paralegal employee for 18 years for Wolff, Hill, McFarlin & Herron of Orlando, Fla., and was an avid Greenbay Packers, Florida Gators and NASCAR fan.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, D.C. “Cricket” and Geraldine Jessee and Lyster and Arcie Joyce.
Surviving are her parents, Russell E. and Nancy E. Joyce; son, Gregory Russell Fox; sisters, Karen Joyce Hale and husband Carl and Lori Joyce Ringstaff; brother, Mark E. Joyce; nephews, Charles Hale, Zachary Hale, Nathaniel Ringstaff, Reece Ringstaff; niece, Kelly Hatfield; great-nieces and nephew, Logan Simmons, Ella Ringstaff, Baileigh and Carlie Hale and Ave Hale. Also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 at Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum at Richlands, Va. with special uncle, Richard (Andy) Jessee officiating. Private burial will follow. A memorial service for Pam will be held in Florida at Metro Life Church, 910 South Winter Park Drive, Casselberry, FL 32707 at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012.
