PRINCETON —
Cora Ann Davis LaRue, 81, of Princeton, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born May 3, 1931 in McComas, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Davis and Myrtle Davis.
Cora was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Princeton. She was loved very much and will be missed by her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence R. “Pete” LaRue; three brothers, Everette Davis, Donald Davis, and John Davis; and one sister, Vernica Brock.
Survivors include one son, Gary LaRue of Princeton; three sisters, Odessa Martin and husband Roy of Peterstown, Shirley Akers and husband Gene of Montcalm, and Ila Garrett of Princeton; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and one sister-in-law, Louise Davis of Princeton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Ronnie Thomure officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until the service hour on Friday.
