BLUEFIELD —
Mary A. Davidson, 74, of Bluefield, W.Va., passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Princeton Community Hospital.
She was born May 13, 1938 to the late Edward L. Hicks and Margaret Doss Hicks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant sister and one brother, Joseph W. Hicks.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Roger T. Davidson of Bluefield, West Virginia; her son, Gregory Davidson and wife Melanie of Charlotte, North Carolina; her two brothers, Charles Hicks of Eagle Rock, Virginia, and Edward L. Hicks Jr. and wife Donna of Rougemont, North Carolina; two grandsons, Jeffery Davidson and wife Samantha, and Justin Davidson, all of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Mary was a 1957 graduate of North Fork Elkhorn High School. In the 50’s, she was employed as a telephone operator in North Fork, West Virginia for the General Telephone of the South East.
Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Mausoleum, today (Monday), February 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial contributions can be made to Loving Hands Adult Care, 402 Airport Road, Bluefield, West Virginia.
