COLUMBUS, OHIO —
Jimmie Lee Cantrell Jr., 40, of Columbus, Ohio, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013. He was born Jan. 15, 1973 in Mullens.
He was a 1991 graduate of Iaeger High School and was employed as a welder foreman at RSC. He enjoyed horseshoes, hunting, playing the guitar and riding his motorcycle. He was a loving husband, father and friend and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Lee and Tamsie Cantrell Sr.; his adoptive mother, Virginia Cantrell; brother, Johnny Lee; daughter, Hope Catherine; and niece, Nerissa Tyeryar.
He is survived by his adoptive father, Wilson Elmer Cantrell; loving wife, Michelle; four children, James Wilson, Amanda Michelle, Elizabeth June and Rebecca Ann; siblings, Thomas Wilson, Timothy Michael and Dreama Kay Neal; mother and father-in-law, Carol and Richard Hartley; brothers-in-law, Sam Baker and Sean Hartley; sisters-in-law, Tanya Nichols, and Stacy and David Shope; and other extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Bastian Church of God, Bastian, Va. Interment will follow in the Carter Family Cemetery.
