BLUEFIELD —
Robert Pierce Seay, 46, of 481 Thompson Chapel Road, Bluefield, W.Va., died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Born August 24, 1966 in Bluefield, W.Va., he was a son of Boover Seay and companion Linda Hoxit of Sylva, N.C. and Cheri Lambert of Bluefield, W.Va.
Robbie is lovingly remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, mischievous grin and magnetic personality. He enjoyed the outdoors and traveling. He treasured his family and friends and loved spending time with them. Robbie attended Midway Christian Church and was the owner of Seay Excavating.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ed Lambert.
Survivors include his loving wife, Cathy Lynn Seay of the home; three children, Jeffery Ryan Whitt, David Joseph Seay and Emma Catherine Seay all of the home; two brothers, David Seay and wife Fonda of Henderson, N.C. and Tom Seay of Durham, N.C.; one sister, Lucy Wood and husband Jimmy of Bastian, Va.; one nephew, Tanner Seay; and two nieces, Autumn and Abigail Wood.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Dan Webb officiating.
The family will receive friends at Mercer Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until the service hour.
Private burial will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
