MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. —
Lebata Sue Norris, age 77, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., formerly of Northfork, W.Va., passed away early Sunday morning, January 27th, 2013 at the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, S.C. after a long illness. Born November 28th, 1935 in Keystone, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Lewis P. Williams and Lucille Tuner Williams.
She was affiliated with the Episcopalian faith. She was a retired bookkeeper for Tomchian Furniture Co. in Northfork after 25 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand mother. She had been a resident of Northfork for most of her life before relocating to Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Robert Cowan, her son-in-law, Ronnie Cowan; and her grandparents who raised her, Charlie and Hattie Turner.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Robert "Bob" Norris of the home; one daughter, Kathy Cowan. She lives at Surfside Beach, S.C. One son, Joey Norris who lives in Myrtle Beach S.C. One grandson, Jeremy Cowan of Murrells Inlet, S.C. One great-grandson, Maddoxx Cowan of Murrells Inlet, S.C. One brother, Lewis Willams and wife Estelle of Bluffton, S.C. A sister, Wanda Slover of Murrells Inlet, S.C.
Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 30th, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel in Princeton, W.Va. with the Reverend Russ Hatfield of St-Marys Episcopal Church, Bluefield, Va. officiating. Burial will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel on Wednesday from 12 noon until the hour of service. Friends and relatives of the family will serve as pallbearers.
