BOISSEVAIN, Va. —
Robert H. Parton, 49, of Boissevain, Va., passed away on Friday, January 4, 2013 in Brushfork, W.Va.
Robert was born in Bluefield, W.Va. on June 5, 1963, the only son of Wallace L. and Iris Jackon Parton. He was a 1981 graduate of Pocahontas High School in Pocahontas, Va.
Survivors include his mother, Iris Jackson Parton of Boissevain, Va.; wife, Paula Parton; son, Luke Zaine Parton and daughter, Candie Faye Parton; mother-in-law, Paula Walter Estep and father-in-law, Walter Estep both of Freeman, W.Va.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was survived by his father for one day.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Rodriguez Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Va. with the Rev. Reginald Blakewood officiating. Friends may call at 12:30 p.m. one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow immediately at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
