MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. —
Ronald Lee Cowan Jr., 56, of Myrtle Beach, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Born in Bluefield, W.Va., he was the son of the late Ronald and Joann Cowan. Mr. Cowan worked as a media specialist in the Horry County Schools. Mr. Cowan is preceded in death by his son, Bobby Cowan.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Virginia are his wife, Kathy Cowan; son, Jeremy Cowan of Myrtle Beach; grandson, Maddoxx Cowan of Myrtle Beach; and sisters, Cathy Conner of Virginia and Debbie Beggs of West Virginia.
The family will receive friends today (Monday), November 12, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
