Willis Kenneth Harrison, 68, of Bluefield (Nemours), died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at Charleston Area Medical Center. Born March 9, 1944 at Rock he was the son of the late Ken Harrison and Florence Thorn Harrison.
He was the owner and operator of Harrison Plumbing and Heating in Princeton for 30 years. He was a member of the Nemours Ruritan Club. He enjoyed farming and taking care of his animals.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Janie Harrison-Giberson and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joyce McBride Harrison; three sons, Kenneth A. Harrison and wife, Dagmar of Morgantown, Robert W. Hovatter and wife, Darlene of St. Albans, and Timothy S. Hovatter and wife, Marchia of Beaver; three daughters, Willa Thomas and husband, Alex, Sonja Hovatter and Kendra Hampton and husband, Charlie all of Princeton; one brother, Willard Harrison and wife, Countess of Salem, Va.; one sister, Ruth Wilson of Lugoff, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; five great-granddaughters and a great-grandson to be born in December.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. William Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012.
