PETERSTOWN —
Louise Lemons, age 90, of Peterstown, W.Va., passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Carilion Giles Community Hospital, Pearisburg, Va.
Born October 25, 1922 at Sinks Grove, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William David and Irene Hedrick Lemons. Ms. Lemons was a member of the Peterstown Missionary Baptist Church. She had retired from the Celanese Corp. with over 40 years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Lemons.
Survivors include four sisters, Hazel I. Smith of Peterstown, W.Va., Margaret Cook of Beaver, W.Va., Virginia Surgeon and Lucy Smithson both of Alderson, W.Va., several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, W.Va. with Pastor Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Alderson Cemetery, Alderson, W.Va. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers and great-nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
