Theresa Maria Pisano Nieto
PRINCETON — Theresa Maria Pisano Nieto, age 84, of Pisgah Road, Princeton, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Cassell’s Board and Care.
Born on January 21, 1929 in Filbert, she was a daughter of the late Joe Noe’ and Angelina Noviello Pisano. She was a lifelong resident of Filbert until 2003. She later lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Gareth Mills and then resided at Cassell’s Board and Care from 2009 until her death. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Gary and later the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Princeton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Harold Nieto; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Joseph and Bridget Nieto; a sister, Philamania Stone; and two brothers, Pete and Dan Pisano.
Survivors include: Daughter and son-in-law: Monica and Gareth of Princeton; Grandsons: Caleb and Jacob Mills, Zachary Lukas and Josiah Nieto, all of Princeton; brother: Frank Pisano of Cranston, R.I.; sister-in-law: Helen Pisano of Woodbridge, Va.; brother-in-law: Carl McCrady Sr. of Midlothian, Va.; many special nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 12:00 noon at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Princeton with nephew, Father Joseph Daniel Pisano officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Bluewell with grandsons and family serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call prior to services at the church, from 11:00-12:00 noon on Thursday.
