Louise Marie McCroskey, age 46, of Squire, W.Va., died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, W.Va. Born Feb. 8, 1966 in Tazewell, Va., she was a daughter of the late Harold and Edith Rose Lawson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Vivian Hutton.
Survivors include her husband, William “Butch” McCroskey; two daughters, Christina Blankenship of Peterstown, W.Va., and Chelsea McCroskey of the home; one son, Andrew S. Hurd of Tennessee; one sister, Deborah Duff of North Carolina; three brothers, Ken Lawson and wife, Debbie, of Lancaster, Ohio, Glen Lawson and wife, Katherine, of Tazewell, Va., and Dennis Lawson of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren, Braxton Kyle McCroskey of the home, Kaylee, Shayann, Blake, Rylee, and Brooke; several nieces and nephews including, Lynn Bolen and husband, Scott, Kelley Buchanan, Jessie Price and Leanna McCroskey, Kirby Lawson, T.K. Lawson, and Zack Bolen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, Va. with the Reverend Roger Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012.
