WASHINGTON, D.C. —
Stanley McClellan Sinkford Jr., M.D., passed peacefully on Saturday, October 20, 2012.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 60 years, Jeanne C. Sinkford, DDS; loving children, Dianne Sinkford, Janet Jones (Burnell), and Stanley M. Sinkford III, M.D. (Kimberly); granddaughters, Zoe and Nina Sinkford; sisters, Bobbie Ware, Doris Mosley, Jacqueline Sinkford, Jane Strother, Patricia Redd (Louis), and Madeline Greene (Judge William Greene); sister-in-law, Janet C. Archer (Fred D. Archer Jr., DDS); many nephews and nieces; and a host of extended relatives and friends.
On Saturday, November 10, 2012, the family will have a memorial service at Howard University’s Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel, Sixth and Howard Place, NW, at 11:00 a.m.
