SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. —
Margaret Tabor Berbert, 81, of Spotsylvania, Va., and formerly of Bluefield, Va., died Thursday, October 25, 2012 in a Fredericksburg, Va. hospital.
She was born in Superior, W.Va., and was a daughter of the late George Edward Tabor and Annie Marie Harris Tabor.
Margaret was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bluefield and was retired from the Washington Gas-Light Co. in Springfield, Va.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis F. Berbert; a son, Louis F. Berbert; and by a brother, Donald E. Tabor.
She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly K. Fishback and husband Kenneth of Spotsylvania, Va.; grandchildren, Bobi Jo Sexton and husband Wayne of Wise, Va., Louis Berbert and Eric Berbert; great-grandchildren, Brian Lewis and Brandon Lewis; brothers, Raymond Tabor of Falls Mils, Va., Jerry Tabor and wife Janet of Bluefield, Va., Randy Tabor of N. Tazewell, Va., Anthony Tabor of Falls Mills, Va.; sisters, Judy Bryant and husband Ivan of South Hill, Va., Connie Owen of Roanoke, Va., Brenda Perkins and husband Ray of Bluefield, Va.
Christian burial services will be held Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at 12 noon at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bluefield with Father Paul Wharton officiating. Burial will follow in the Grandview Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Anthony Tabor, Michael Kaser, Boyd Quesenberry, Keith Tabor, Kenny Fishback, Hunter Broyles and Cole Davis.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until hour of services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Food Pantry or to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, Va. is serving the Margaret Tabor Berbert family.
