BLUEFIELD —
Edwin John “Eddie” Bowers, 44, of 145 Julep Court in Bluefield died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at his residence. Born in Bluefield, July 30, 1968, he was the son of Carol Sue Eller of Bluefield with whom he made his home, and the late Edwin D. Bowers Jr.
Eddie was a 1988 graduate of Graham High School in Bluefield, Va. and continued his education earning an Associate Degree in electronics from Devry University in Columbus, OH.
In addition to his father, his maternal grandparents, John and Narsie Eller, and his paternal grandparents, Damer and Pansy Bowers, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Sue Eller of Bluefield; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In keeping with his wishes, Eddie has been cremated and will be buried at a later date in his family cemetery. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Oliver Hill officiating. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 1:00 p.m. to the service hour on Saturday.
