BLUEFIELD —
Ania Journey Simon, infant born November 6, 2012 to Shamanique Dowell and Dexter Simon, went home with her Lord Jesus as one of his precious angels on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents: Young Dowell Sr., Lucy and Sylvester Watkins, Oneather Tabb, Elex Alexander, Marie Tucker Williams, and an aunt, Deloris Dowell Martin.
Survivors to cherish her memories are: Her loving parents, Shamanique Dowell, and Dexter Simon; brothers, Tylee Simon, and Dexter Simon II; Grandparents, Anita and Howard Watkins, Linda and Junie Mann, Calvin Tabb, Wilfred Dexter, and Christine Simon; great-grandparents, Cassie M. Dowell, Ben and Marvlene Simon; aunts and uncles, Yolanda Dowell (Willis III), Andre Dowell (Sharkara), Deanna Morrison, Katherine Williams, Curtis Williamson, Shartrice Peters (Darwin), Shantaa Watkins, Jackie Collins, Sean Holland, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be conducted Monday, November 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Bluewell, W.Va. with Bishop Sue Heartwell conducting the service.
A.P. McConnell Funeral Home of Bluefield is serving the Dowell-Simon family.
