BLUEFIELD, Va. —
Terry Wayne Kegley Sr., 65, of Bluefield, Va., died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Bluefield, Va. and is the son of Eula Busic Kegley McFarland of Bluefield, Va. and the late Ralph Kegley.
Terry was a former employee at McCann Motors, Tender White Trucking and NAPA auto parts.
He enjoyed fishing and woodworking and at one time helped the family with showing Roadster Ponies.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Rev. Thomas McFarland.
He is survived by his mother, Eula Busic Kegley McFarland of Springville, Va.; son, Terry Wayne (TJ) Kegley Jr. and his girlfriend, Stephanie Furrow of Springville, Va.; brothers, Larry Randal Kegley and wife Carolyn of Tazewell, Va., Barry Lane (Buck) Kegley and wife Sandy of Bluefield, Va., Danny Lynn Kegley of Springville, Va.; ex-wife and mother of TJ, Christine Walls Kegley Ashley of Michigan; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. with the Rev. David Neal officiating. Burial will follow in the Grandview Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Wimmer, D.J. Kegley, Jonathan Matney, David Blankenship, Bram Massie and Chris Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Furrow, Hunter Furrow, Cameron Furrow and employees of Highlands Ambulance Service.
Friends may visit with the family today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, Va. is serving the Kegley family.
