BLUEFIELD —
Nina Norene Bales, 86, of 2832 Bluemont Dr., Bluefield, W.Va., passed away on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at her home.
She was born in Maybeury, W.Va. and was a daughter of the late Samuel and Annie Perdue.
She was a member of the Brushfork Baptist Church and in addition to her parents was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Bales; son, Ezra Vincent Bales; and daughter, Barbara Ann Bales. She was also preceded by a sister, Edna Reed and by brothers, Raymond Perdue and Charles Perdue.
She is survived by a son, Danny Bales and wife Pamela of Bluefield, W.Va.; daughter, Sharon Bailey and husband Dave of Bluefield, W.Va.; grandchildren, Shawn Bales, Stephanie Bales, Andy Bales and wife Samantha, Debbye Bales, Melissa Bundy and husband TJ, Kayla Bales, Samantha Bailey, Zachary Bailey; great-grandchildren, Michael Lawless, Keeley Bundy and Toby Bundy; nephews, Charles Stasheen and wife Pat, and Washie Stasheen.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. with Pastor Wesley Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Bales, Andy Bales, Zachary Bailey, Michael Lawless, TJ Bundy and Jeff Bowman.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, Va. is serving the Bales family.
