LERONA —
Carolyn Ann Justice, 65, of Lerona, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at her residence.
She was “Mom” to many and a “friend” to all. She adored her family.
Born May 17, 1947 in Welch, she was the daughter of the late William Bailey and Elsie Blankenship Bailey. She was a graduate of Welch High School and had been a resident of Lerona for the past eight years moving here from Bluefield.
Carolyn was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and attended Athens Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold David Justice.
Survivors include three daughters, Lori Coffey and husband Lee of Bluefield, Cynthia Eanes of Welch, and Misty Martin and husband Jeff of Athens; two sons, Timothy Justice of Charleston, W.Va. and Ron Justice and wife Angie of Princeton; seventeen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Billy “Boulder” Bailey of Lerona.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Larry Roberts and the Rev. Charles Drake officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Park Cemetery in Bluewell. Grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the service hour on Thursday.
