TAZEWELL, Va —
Charles Tex Samuel Clemons, age 71, of the Baptist Valley community of Tazewell County, Va., died Monday, January 14, 2013 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Tazewell, Va. Born January 8, 1942 in Tazewell County, Va., he was a son of the late Alfred Newton Clemons and Mary Vencill Clemons.
He attended the Open Door Community Church in Baptist Valley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Albert Vencill, Ralph Vencill, Edgar Clemons, Raymond Vencill, and Bob Clemons; three sisters, Gladys Clemons, Lily Lowe, and Polly Graybeal.
He is survived by one brother, Clint Clemons of North Tazewell, Va.; two sisters, Mary Jessie of North Tazewell, Va. and Wanda Justice and husband, Jay of Lebanon, Va.; special friends, Cody Sparks and Sharon Bandy.
In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
