Elizabeth Ann Connick, 67, of Union, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Va.
She was born IN Bluefield, Virginia, Dec. 22, 1945, a daughter of the late Emil and Lena Love Beasley Aldish.
Mrs. Connick was a homemaker, a member of the Gap Mills United Methodist Church at Gap Mills, a 1964 graduate of Tazewell High School, a charter member of the Monroe Gardener's and a member of the Monroe County Quilters.
Surviving is her husband, Jack Leo Connick of Union; three sons, Alan E. Connick and wife, April of Lindside, Tony L. Connick of Arnold, Md., Jerry Wayne Connick and wife, Cathleen of Yadkinville, N.C.; two brothers, George A. Aldish of Union, Danny Aldish of Struthers, Ohio; a sister, Susan Aldish of Lexington, N.C.; four grandsons, Jarrett Lee Connick, Austin Wayne Connick, Matthew H. Connick and Evan A. Connick.
Memorial Services will be held 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union with the Rev. Eugene Fullen officiating.
Friends may call at the Groves Funeral Home in Union from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the University of Virginia Heart and Vascular Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Groves Funeral Home in Union is in charge of arrangements.
