CEDAR BLUFF, Va. —
Mrs. Beulah Ruth Shrader, age 73, of Cedar Bluff, Va., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013.
Born Jan. 11, 1939 in Richlands, Va., she was the daughter of the late Annie Horn Cole. She was a member of Premier Full Gospel Church.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ellis Newberry and her second husband, Bernard Shrader.
She is survived by one son, Berk Newberry and wife Missy of Claypool Hill, Va.; one daughter, Rhonda Proffitt and husband Wayne of Greenbay, Va.; one sister, Margie Sisk and husband Buford of Fork Ridge, Va.; three grandchildren, G.W. Proffitt Jr., Jason Proffitt and Tabitha Hylton; eight great-grandchildren; special niece, Debbie Clifton and husband Billy; and special loving friend of the family, Robert Deel.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2012 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Va. with Brother Billy Clifton officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va. Pallbearers will be G.W. Proffitt Jr., Cody Sisk, Billy Breeding, Doug Johnson, Chad Clifton and Chris Clifton. Honorary pallbearers will be Otis Johnson, Wayne Ward and Bob Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today (Friday) with a song service at 7 p.m. at Singleton Funeral Service at Cedar Bluff, Va.
